Sunday School starts at 9:00 am with a time of fellowship prior to the start of the Bible study. Sunday worship services start at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm. Wednesday worship begins at 5:45 pm. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early.
Sunday and Wednesday worship services take place in the Sanctuary on east side of the building, facing Rodney Parham Road. From the visitor parking area on Rodney Parham, enter the doors facing Rodney Parham and you will be facing the Sanctuary.
To see a friendly face, get directions or answers to your questions, please visit our Welcome Center in the foyer, outside the Sanctuary.
To find your Sunday School Class, please visit the Welcome Center in the foyer of our Sanctuary, or ask one of our greeters located at each entrance to our facility.
If you have children, our preschool ministry provides nursery for birth – Kindergarten during Sunday School and for birth - 4 years old during worship services. Our children's ministry provides Sunday School classes through the sixth grade.
The preschool and children's ministry is located on the ground floor on the west side of our building just inside of door #4 and the First Kids awning. You may choose to park on the west side (rear) of the building and enter door #4 (at the red First Kids awning) where greeters are waiting to help you find your child's place; or you may park in the Visitor's parking as described above and visit the Welcome Center first.
Because every child is priceless to Little Rock's First Baptist Church the following security measures are in place for each family:
Upon arrival, we request that all parents of babies - two year olds fill out a brief form that requests important information about their child. This information is placed with the child's diaper bag, and each child's personal items are labeled to eliminate any confusion. Parents are given a sticker with a security number. This number corresponds with a number of the label with the child's belongings. Once all of the family's children are settled in their Sunday school classes, parents are issued a pager from our Welcome Center volunteer. Our numbered pagers serve dual purposes. In addition to being a security tool, our pagers also serve as a communication tool. With our pagers, we have the ability to send messages to all parents. With the pagers, we can contact you quietly and quickly during Sunday school or while you are in the Sanctuary for the worship service. In order to insure that all children are adequately protected while in the care of Little Rock's First Baptist Church's Preschool department, security staff is on the premises on Sunday mornings.
